#16 Wikis

I thought the Commoncraft video on You Tube was by far the simplest explanation of wikis.

I would consider using it for a family history project I'm conducting with two other family members - one in Canada and another in Ireland. The emails, copies of emails, photographs and documents are getting out of control. It's getting very difficult to keep track of who has what. This would be a simple way for each of us to add our latest discoveries and be able to make additions/corrections as we go along.

The Common Craft videos are great. They have quite a few on different Web 2.0 tools which are easy to understand.

Great idea on using a wiki. It sounds like a perfect solution for your genealogy resources dilemma.
